Breezy Style

The Timemaster Chronograph Skeleton from Chronoswiss is both a stylish new sports watch as well as a classy accessory that has a breezy style and sporty design and is suitable for all occasions. This watch oozes oomph and sporty styling, while carrying off the entire package with an elan that is typical of the Chronoswiss brand.

While the Timemaster Chronograph is not really a new watch in the true sense of the word, it is for the first time that it comes with the unique skeletonized dial that adds a whole new dimension to the watch’s look and feel.
With a substantial 44mm stainless steel case, this is not one of those delicate timepieces, as with its pleasing lines and unique skeletonized dial and sleek sub-dials, it does make a not insignificant impact, regardless of the occasion. There are two versions available, one with a black dial finish and the other with matte grey finish.
The lay-out of the dial is very clean and easy to read, although it can seem a bit overwhelming at first due to the number of sub-dials. Further inspection however shows that it is very intuitive, with the use of contrasting colours ensuring all indications stand out clearly against the backdrop of the movement beneath.
The Timemaster Chronograph Skeleton offers full chronograph functionality, with a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock and a central seconds hand. Hours and minutes are indicated on the main dial, while the small seconds are shown on a sub-dial at 9 o’clock, offset nicely by the date shown on the opposite sub-dial at 3 o’clock.
Surrounding the skeletonized dial is a polished, black-DLC coated bezel, which just adds that little something extra needed to really make the watch pop on the wrist. On the right hand side, you have the two chronograph pushers and of course Chronoswiss’ distinctive onion-shaped crown.
Driving the Timemaster Chronograph Skeleton is the Swiss automatic caliber C. 741 S, the inner workings of which are on display on the dial side. The movement offers a power reserve of 46 hours and has a skeletonized rotor with côtes de Genève decoration.
