More than 80 percent of Indian government work is being done online

Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr. Jitendra Singh today said that more than 80 per cent of the work of government is being done online. Inaugurating the Good Governance Week in New Delhi today as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, Dr Singh said, thanks to digital India initiative, the works went on smoothly even during the COVID-19 period. He said, the public grievances have increased from two lakh in 2014 to more than 25 lakhs at present with more than 95 percent solution of cases.
More than 80 percent of Indian government work is being done online

The theme of Good Governance Week is Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur – a Nation-wide campaign for Redressal of Public Grievances and Improving Service Delivery will be held in all Districts, States, and Union Territories. During the week-long event, more than 700 District Collectors will visit Tehsil and Panchayat Samiti Headquarters to provide timely grievance redressal and improve service delivery.
